Sheila Lavon (Holland) Atkinson

A memorial service for Sheila Lavon Atkinson, 69, of Huntington, Tx will be Tuesday March 3rd, 2026 at 2pm at Ora Missionary Baptist Church in Huntington, Tx with Bro. Wesley Matchett officiating. No visitation is scheduled. Sheila was born February 5th, 1957 in Houston, Tx to Oscar Boyce and Wanda Lorene Hagan Holland. She passed away February 19th, 2026 in Lufkin, Tx Sheila loved her kids and grandkids and would do anything for them. When they were younger, she would take her kids camping and fishing. She also previously attended Ora Missionary Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents Wanda and O.B., daughter Gabriel Vivian, and grandson Harley. She is survived by her children Brandy Louise and James Stanley and their children Breanna Lavon and Natalie Rena; John Wayne Atkinson and his children John Wayne Atkinson, Jr. and Dean McCarty Atkinson; as well as step daughters Debra Lynn Atkinson and Kimberly Ann Atkinson
